The Martin County Amateur Radio Emergency Service / Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service (ARES/RACES) is composed of FCC Licensed Amateur Radio operators who have voluntarily registered their capabilities and equipment for public service communications. Martin County ARES/RACES Inc. is a non-profit organization funded by donations and paid membership and run solely by volunteer efforts.

The AECs are appointed to lead committees which are tasked to perform and report on a specific aspect of Martin County ARES/RACES business. If you are interested in one or more of those committees or activities, please contact the respective AEC.
Martin County ARES/RACES, Inc. holds its monthly meeting on the second Thursday of each month. Held at the Martin County E.O.C. building at 800 SE Monterey Rd. Stuart at 7:00 PM. Meetings are open to all membership and those interested in the organization.
Many of our members also participate in the NWS Skywarn program as trained severe weather spotters. More information on local Skywarn activities can be found at;
